Face Timing Now Allow Users Appear With Borrowed 'Real' Face.

For as long as the human's lived, we've been developing and evolving new forms of communicating, era by era, from smoke and messenger, to pigeon, telephone to email, to electric telegraph before the digital era swept in with telephones, internet, mobile phones, smartphones, iPhones, wearable Technogies, 5G these advancements ushered in social media platforms, chats,  FaceTime, Zoom, Google hangout, Virtual Reality, all with the help of the internet.

Over the years, these new technological advancements have defined and redefined the process of communication and one of the most recently advanced aspect is the 'Real-time communications' (RTC).

According to SearchUnified, RTC are the near simultaneous exchange of information over any type of telecommunications service from the sender to the receiver in a connection with negligible latency.

In other words, real-time conversation refers to a conversation that occurs in the present moment, with both parties able to respond.

As this advancements continue to evolve in a scary phase, a recent advancement has been made in the aspect of face timing were users can decide to face chat with an option of looks.

Meaning you can now decide to FaceTime wearing someone else's face- appearing as that person to your recipient and your recipient can do same, vice versa.

A recent video about this new development was posted on Engr. Nicolai  Nielsen's LinkedIn profile, where a FaceTimer appeared on the screen, first with his original face on one side while on the other screen, the face appeared with famous billionaire Ellon Musk's face.

Periom News tried using this technology and the result was mind-blowing and at the same time scary.

For rising fear of using this new development to enhance criminal activities such as; criminal impersonation, there are advanced ways of detecting if a person is real or just an impersonator using another person's face as his mask and this way is called the "Real-time Face Detector"

Real-time Face Detection Technology is a type of biometric software that uses mathematical algorithms to identify individuals based on their unique facial characteristics. These characteristics can include height, width, the distance between the eyes, nose shape, and others.

The question now is, as the RTC continues to evolve more accurately, how accuratly can this detecting technology  work?
