Haaland Scores three Times as City defeats Fulham 5-1.
Erling Haaland scored three goals in the second half to help league leaders Manchester City destroy Fulham 5-1 on Saturday.
The champions, who have defeated Fulham in 15 consecutive league encounters and are now in first place with 12 points after four games, got on the board first through goals from Julian Alvarez and Nathan Ake.
Tim Ream scored an early equalizer for Fulham before they were dominated, giving them four points from their four games.
Haaland, who set numerous scoring records last season, added another one on Saturday. With 42 goals and 9 assists in just 39 Premier League games, he is now the player with the fastest 50-goal involvement.
Ake's goal just before halftime was the most contentious play of the game.
The goal appeared to be disallowed because Manuel Akanji, who was standing in an offside position in front of Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno and leaped over the ball as it was going into the goal, prevented it from going in.
