New KNUPDA MD, Arc. Hauwa Hassan Tudunwada, Expresses Readiness to Work Tirelessly.

The newly appointed Managing Director of the Kano State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KNUPDA), Arc. Hauwa Hassan Tudunwada, has pledged her commitment to working tirelessly to advance the agency and contribute to the development of Kano State.

She made this statement today while officially assuming duty, calling on all staff to extend their maximum cooperation in ensuring the success of KNUPDA’s mandate. She expressed her gratitude to His Excellency, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, for entrusting her with the leadership of the agency, describing her appointment as a historic milestone as the first female architect to head KNUPDA.

Arc. Hauwa Hassan Tudunwada also appreciated the solidarity shown by various women’s organizations that escorted her to the office. Among those present were Hajiya Gambo Abdullahi, President of the National Council of Women’s Societies (NCWS); Hajiya Kubra Dankani of Jam’iyyar Matan Arewa; Hajiya Amina representing the Nigerian Institute of Architects; Justice Salma Danbappa of FIDA; as well as representatives from NAWOJ and SHOGA, all of whom delivered goodwill messages during the handover ceremony.

Speaking on behalf of the KNUPDA management and staff, the Director of Personnel Management, Alhaji Aminu Umar, assured the new MD of their commitment to working with her and prayed for a successful tenure.
